Located not far from Peek A Boo and Spooky Slot canyons. Like Spooky and Peek a boo Zebra is a very narrow canyon, narrower in fact. The canyon mouth is 3 miles from the parking lot and the canyon itself is perhaps a few hundred yards long, much shorter than Peek a boo and Spooky. But Zebra looks quite a bit different than most slot canyons and is appropriately named with amazing stripes. Also Zebra canyon is an out and back hike unlike the peek a boo/spooky loop. Zebra is so narrow that for most people a chimney crawl is required in at least three sections of the canyon because it is only 7 inches wide. Standing water is common in several sections of the canyon most times of the year ranging between ankle and waist deep and the water is very very cold.
