This beautiful desert lake is a 20-minute drive out of Mesa, AZ and is an oasis in the desert. I struggle a bit with my bass fishing equipment, but we manage to have a wonderful day exploring the canyons that rise from the lake's waters. I talk a bit about the interesting plants we find in our time out on the lake and share some about the history of land management in the US.
