It's been about 2 weeks since I was last out here. Since my last visit, you can see that they have made a lot more of the rebar columns that are being used for the footers of the new Guitar tower. You can also see the cranes, drill riggs, concrete pumps and cement trucks that are set up in the area of the new Guitar tower location. I couldn't see it on my viewfinder when filming but you can see that the crane was lifting one of the giant rebar columns into place while I was filming. We can also see that they are bring in loads of dirt to fill in the area out front where some of the water features used to be. One of the side dump trucks was dumping a load. I did not see any changes to the outside of the original Mirage building. This building is not going to torn down. It is going to get remodeled and rebranded to the Hard Rock.
