(WKRC) - OSHA Inspectors are trying to determine how a veteran casino worker in Lawrenceburg died on the job. Fifty-five-year-old Wesley Stokes died last Saturday while operating an electric lift on the Hollywood Casino property. Stokes was a facilities manager at Hollywood Casino Lawrenceburg for 23 years. On Saturday afternoon, he was driving an electric boom lift when something happened. He was found by his employees pinned between the bucket of the lift and a concrete ceiling. Medics tried to revive Stokes but were unsuccessful. Dearborn County coroner Steve Callahan was then called. It's not yet clear if it was a workplace accident or if Stokes suffered a medical emergency. Either way, Callahan said his hand was still on the lever that pushes the bucket upward. Indiana's Department of Labor is looking into what happened. An inspector is gathering information to see if Hollywood Casino is in compliance with safety regulations. If violations are found, there could be a penalty. #big bola casinos córdoba #boulder station hotel and casino #pullman cuernavaca casino #jackpot city casino gratis tragamonedas
