Dang is significantly more challenging with numerous large drops most of which require a handline,long sections of standing water that require wading or stemming, and a longer narrows section. where as the crux of Ding barely exceeds class 3 the crux of Dang is absolutely low class 5. This hike is alittle over 7 miles to do the whole loop and has beautiful scenery the entire time!
