Staying there for three weeks in January / February 2014 the hotel provided very good value for money with a convivial welcome and great sporting facilities. The food was also well presented and reasonably priced. Often the Internet often fails to convey a full picture of a venue so this "YouTube" really is a "Tourist Eye View" as the hotel management had no input whatsoever. Usage permission of identifiable members of the public appearing is required so some areas necessitated being more or less empty as it was too difficult to try and obtain the OK from large groups of people. The Dominican Fiesta Hotel was, when compared with others, a little frayed round the edges, but this did not decrease from its popularity as providing exceptional services. Housekeeping was efficient and unobtrusive. Overall the ambience and quality of its welcome and security was pre-eminent when compared with similar hotels as which we have stayed. Our room was a "Double Deluxe" on the 6th Floor. The video shows the room....as occupied. In other words it had NOT been prepared by the hotel - it is as we were using it. There is an "Executive Room" 7th Floor but we did not visit these. However please don't all rush to book at once as hopefully there will be a room available to return again same time next year.
