We begin with a look at the exterior facade and the different sized "New York" style buildings composing the hotel. Once inside, we peek past the second floor area, near the Coyote Ugly bar, to take a look at the casino floor below, then we see a large Statue of Liberty made from red Twizzlers. We then take the escalator down to the casino floor and talk a bit about a strategy for getting free drinks. As we continue the New York-New York walkthrough, we pass themed machines like "Little Shop of Horrors" and see a guy who had just won an $8,000+ jackpot. Soon, a broken escalator on the way to the parking garage reminds us we're at an MGM property. We then loop through the America restaurant where a giant map of the U.S. stretches above the dining room. Heading upstairs to the arcade and Big Apple roller coaster area, we pass Nathan's hot dogs and quite a few arcade games. Back downstairs, we walk through the faux New York City streets section with various food vendors and restaurant facades. As we come around the casino floor, back towards the Strip side, we check out the small sportsbook area with TVs high on the wall and take note of the Swatch watch store. Walking past Nine Fine Irishmen, the Irish bar / restaurant, we see a sign stating that it's closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, then we end our visit briefly outside on the Las Vegas Strip before heading into the two-level Hershey's Chocolate store, where bulk candy goes for an astounding $17 per pound.
