The Cromwell has held a special place in my heart since my wife and I frequented the property when it was Bill's Gamblin' Hall. Although The Cromwell was decidedly nicer than Bill's, we still loved the vibe and remain drawn to it. I booked a Luxury Room on a comp, which is a step up from their standard Classic Room. The main difference is that the Luxury Room offers a Strip view, while the Classic Room offers little scenery. The hotel hallways at The Cromwell are among the more aesthetically pleasing in Las Vegas, as there are messages written on the carpet in English & French, and the lighting extending down the hallway is a fun visual. The room itself was dark, leathery, and felt luxurious from a distance. Unique features in Cromwell's Luxury Room included a working radio, a "movie star" powder station, and a shower that comes equipped with a 2-way mirror (beware!).
