It is off of the Byway 12, by Cannonville. This is what I consider an easy hike, there are no elevation changes, and you can turn around whenever you want. I think It's 6-7 mile roundtrip but I'm not sure. This is dog friendly hike and even in the summer there is a very small remnant of the creek flowing through the canyon most of the way. It's not deep enough for your feet to get wet, but enough for your dog to drink out of. This was one of my favorite hikes. the slot canon itself is pretty long and then opens up again. It's not orange like most of the slot canyons I've seen, it's a beautiful mixture of black, gray, beige, very pretty and it made me feel like I was in a spooky cartoon.
