Today we’re going take a look at the Velcro latch. This latch is perfect for displays, enclosures, and light duty doors where easy access is required. It’s easy to install and available in both fractional and metric. Now the great thing about this latch is that is comes with all required hardware, and requires no machining. Now to get started we are going to take the body, and give it one last bolt and one last T-nut. Now on the T-nut you’re going to want to make sure that the pilot projection is facing downward or away from the body. Get that on there preloaded. Now we’ll get our frame into place, and we’ll slide the body right into the open T-slot. We’ll get that into position, take the wrench, and tighten down our bolts. Now once we have that secured into place, we’re going to move our frame around. We’ll grab our hook, and drop it into the open T-slot. We’re going to line that up with the body, and then we’ll rotate that in the open T-slot and lock it into place. Once you have that together, you have a strong, secure connection.
