Los investigadores de la UPR llegaron a la Oficina del área de Diversidad Institucional, donde los esperaba el equipo de investigadores de la MSU, compuesto por el Dr. Myron Anderson, Asociado al Presidente en temas de diversidad, y el Dr. Peter Vigil, del área de Educación Temprana, y las doctoras Vanessa Power y Carmen Sanjurjo, del área de Educación Secundaria. Allí fueron presentados al Presidente de la MSU, el Dr. Stephen M. Jordan, así como al Dr. Akbarali Thobhani, Director de la Oficina de Estudios Internacionales. Igualmente, tuvieron la oportunidad de conocer las facilidades de la MSU. En la noche, asistieron a una cena en la casa del Dr. Vigil y su esposa, la Dra. Lisa Altemueller, directora del Programa de Educación Elemental, Diversidad Lingüística, K-12 y Educación Secundaria.

The UPR researchers arrived at the Institutional Diversity Office, where they were received by the team of researchers from the MSU: Dr. Myron Anderson, Associate to the President of the MSU for Diversity, Dr. Peter Vigil, an expert on Early Childhood Education, as well as Dr. Vanessa Power and Dr. Carmen Sanjurjo, from Secondary Education. They also met Dr. Stephen M. Jordan, President of the MSU, and Dr. Akbarali Thobhani, Excecutive Director of the Office of International Studies. They were shown the MSU facilities. That night, they had diner at Dr. Vigil’s house, were they met his wife, Dr. Lisa Altermueller, Chair of the Department of Elementary, Linguistically Diverse, K-12 and Secondary Education.
